Fri, July 21st- Daniel Bonte & The Bona Fide w. Poor Man’s Change
July 21, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm$15
//Bo-na Fide adj. : real or genuine LAW: made or done in an honest or sincere way//
Taking their moniker to heart, Daniel Bonte & The Bona Fide are leading the charge to bring original & organic Rock Country to Southern California. Their sound has evolved from years of solo and collaborative songwriting, live performances, jam sessions after a double-shift, late nights with Jack Daniels, heartbreak, and feel good “Moments.” It’s not your ordinary country and that’s fine by them. If you like rock & roll, soul, blues, and the stories of country music then the Bona Fide will get your stamp of approval.
The Bona Fide recently partnered with Sunlane Music Management, and released their follow up EP entitled “Easy Kind Of Livin” in June 2016. They’re currently slotted to open for Easton Corbin at Shipkicker Festival in Long Beach this month, and Kip Moore & Josh Abbott Band at Night In The Country in July. The band will be planning a Texas to Tennessee tour set to commence in late August.
Those who know Orange County by it’s beer-soaked parties, biker bars, and roughneck swagger do not need an introduction to Poor Man’s Change. Visionaries of the classic sounds forged by the working man’s rock and roll. Bringing grit to the sunshine and sandy beaches of Southern California. Poor Man’s Change is the raw underbelly of what it means to be a Southern Rock/Country band.
